About Me

I’m Kaamya Tandon, an economist, researcher, writer, and a lifelong learner, with a keen interest in public policy, international relations, and governance. Holding a Master’s degree in Economics from Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda, I enjoy exploring the intersection of economics, politics, and contemporary affairs through research and writing.

Alongside writing and research, I’ve gained hands-on experience in administration and event management through my work with Praangan, a Vadodara-based centre for children with Special Educational Needs, where I coordinate initiatives that bring together policymakers, educators, and the community.

I’m particularly interested in international affairs, economic policy, governance, and history. My strengths lie in research, data analysis, communication, and organisation — enabling me to approach problems with both creativity and structure.

Currently, I’m preparing for the Civil Services Examination while continuing to expand my work in research, writing, and public policy.

About the midnight dispatch

This blog was born in June 2026 from a simple desire — to share my thoughts with the world. What began as a personal passion project has grown into a space where my love for reading, research, and writing comes together.

Each week, I explore a topic of national or international significance and break it down in a clear, engaging, and accessible manner — giving readers the context and background they need to understand complex issues, without needing to sift through countless books or endlessly scroll the internet.

At its core, this is an attempt to make informed, well-researched discussions more approachable, one topic at a time.

I’m always open to feedback — if you enjoy reading, consider leaving a comment or sharing a post. It helps this space keep growing.
